STOP ENCOURAGING US

Recorded live at the 7th Street Entry, Minneapolis, June 24 1983
This great performance from 1983 features the band performing many of the tunes that would later end up on Let it Be, as well as a few Westerberg compositions that did not ("Why Flop" and "Punk Poop"), along with a few of their signature covers. Most interesting of all is "You Look Like an Adult", which features the music from "Seen Your Video" with a completely different set of lyrics.

SOUND QUALITY: This comes from a great stereo PA system tape. Because it's a PA tape, the vocals and drums are a bit too loud in relation to the guitars, but the overall sound is good and rates a 7 out of 10.
