WE'RE SORRY, PORTLAND

Recorded June 26 and 27 1991, in Portland Oregon and Seattle Washington
Portland has a special place in Mats history, as the site of perhaps their worst, most drunken show ever... a 1987 show so bad they Paul scratched "We're Sorry, Portland" into the vinyl inner groove of the Don't Tell a Soul LP the following year. This isn't that show, it is instead the very last show they did in Portland, and their third-to-last show ever. Without Chris the band lacks some of their spark, but the All Shook Down songs come to life onstage in a way they didn't on the album. The set is filled out with part of the previous night's show in Seattle, including a rare live performance of Tommy's "Satellite."
